The Camp Courage Vision: to reach as many Service Members as possible through the outreach of our care package projects in an effort to express our sincerest appreciation for their selfless choice to serve our great nation!!

Board members Cheryl Alitzer and Sammy Oesterreich visited the Camp Courage headquarters in November. We were honored to have met the wonderful Mai Christy and share a wonderful few days with her. Our main reason for being there was to participate in the biggest care package campaign Camp Courage has ever done. It was an honor to meet the wonderful volunteers who help put smiles on the faces of our men and women in the military each month by volunteering their time to help put the care packages together. THANK YOU for all you do, volunteers! Click on the image below to see the interview Katu2 television did with our Mai Christy. Look close. You might seem some familiar faces.

Please take a few moments to read a heartfelt and touching poem written by 13-year old, Lauren Beebe of Centennial, Colorado. This poem was written as an assignment for school. It is said that each time she is given a writing assignment, Lauren writes with her Marine brother and extended Marine families in mind. You can clearly see this in the poem she wrote called, "The Man Who Didn't Know." Please click on the name of the poem to read it. Enjoy...
